People that appear closer to God are simply following his word.
They're living examples of his word.
They have found their way into Gods heart by following the path of his teachings to the letter.
They are virtuous and full of love.
They have surrendered all their evil qualities and taken up the weapons of discipline and truth, faith and devotion.
They have become instruments of God's will.
