The Unknown.

There comes a time,
when suddenly we find,
that nothing, is as it seems,
and it has tainted all of our dreams.

All of the things,
that were total must haves,
were totally not
and we've been totally had.

We know what we don't want
but what is it we need?
What is our purpose
and what will give us a lead?

I know for me,
it was a prayer for forgiveness,
that planted the seed,
and gave me a lead.

I watered it with kindness,
and fertilized it with sweetness.

I learned to love this small self
and to reach out for help.

We don't have to know where,
we are going,
it's not all,
about knowing.

It's all in the giving.
That's the key to right living.

We start out as a seed
and we grow and we grow.
We reach up to the light,
till it's our time,
to go.

And in the meantime,
we just sit back
and realize,
it's not all,
about knowing.

God has the answers
and He knows where we're going.
