With the dust off the Guru's lotus feet, I polish the mirror of this minds deceit.
With the dust off the Gurus lotus feet,
I clarify the mind, of this minds conceit.
Buried beneath my sullied thoughts,
lie the four great feats, that can't be taught.
To reach the goal and not get caught ,
I must go within and seek what can't be bought.
In order to find absolute fulfillment,
I must clear my mind, of all it's concealments.
Compassion must always rule my heart,
intuition must guide me and illuminate the dark.
Righteousness is knowing,
right from wrong.
Righteousness is knowing,
what keeps us strong.
A meaningful life, is finding happiness within, with love and devotion, we can truly begin.
The greatest freedom in life, is our freedom from fear.
Fear keeps us shallow and insincere.
Fear leaves us hollow, to wallow, in tears.
Fear has us lost, to the greatest Charioteer.
Oh Son of the Wind,
bless this unintelligent soul, with the strength and the wisdom
and the knowledge, to be bold.
My miseries and sins, have left me less than is whole.
Please bless me with the intelligence,
to remove this blindfold.
It's my expectations and desires,
that have left me feeling so small.
Oh Son of the Wind,
please help me grow tall.
Please give me the strength,
to know what's right, from what's wrong.
