The Guru's Love.

The spiritual path is very tough, 

it's both narrow and dangerously sheer.

As it winds around and we lose our way,
it's only the guru's love, 
that's clear. 

In those times that we feel,
all alone, 

it's only the guru's vision,
that steers. 

If we hold onto his hand very tightly 

and trust in his every word. 

We will finally come to realize, 

what's important, 

and what's absurd. 

No one else can save us, 

from this nonsense,
that we manifest.

No one else can save us, 

from all this worry and unrest. 

You can be rest assured, 

that it won't be easy,

and that there won't be much time to rest. 
But you can be rest assured,
that it will be rewarding,
after you're put through every test.
