What Upsets Us.

When you poke around in fresh cow manure, your hands get dirty. The same way in life, if something is upsetting us and we poke away at it, we dirty only ourselves, by indulging the fantasies of the mind.

With detachment, if we leave the source of aggravation alone. Like the cow manure, which left out in the sun dries out and can be put to so many great uses, we can be healed by the very thing that upset us.

The thing that troubles us, can also be the thing that frees us, when it's left alone to settle of its own accord.

Cow dung is offered into the sacred fire and is part of the Vibhuti that we apply to our foreheads to help us receive The Divine more fully.

Gracie

Our hearts have fallen in love,
with the idea,
that you two,
will stay.

But our hearts also know,
that you,
will be okay.

We know that Gods with you
and He's guiding you everyday.

But for your safe return I know,
we all secretly pray.

The Water Bearer.

A water bearer in India had two large pots. Each hung on one end of a pole, which he daily carried across his neck from his master’s  house to a stream and back.

One of the pots had a crack in it, while the other pot was whole and always delivered a full portion of water at the end of the long walk from the stream to the master’s house. The pot without any cracks was proud of its accomplishments, perfect for the job for which it was made.

The cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection and miserable that it was able to deliver only half of the water it carried from the stream. After two years of daily carrying only half the portion of water, one day the cracked pot spoke to the water bearer, “I am ashamed of myself and I want to apologise to you.”

“Why?” asked the bearer, “What are you ashamed of?”

“For these past two years, I have been able to deliver only half of my load, because this crack in me causes water to leak out all the way back to your master’s house. Because of my defect you have to do more work to carry enough water for the day,” the pot said.

The water bearer felt sorry for the old cracked pot and said to it, “As we return to the master’s house, I want you to notice the beautiful wild flowers on the side of the path.”

This cheered the cracked pot somewhat. But at the end of the trail it still felt bad, because it had leaked out half its load and so again, it apologised to the bearer for its failure.

The bearer said to the pot, “Did you notice that there were flowers only on your side of the path, but not on the other side?" The cracked pot replied, "Yes, I wonder why…”

The bearer explained, “That’s because I have always known about your crack and took advantage of it. I planted flower seeds on your side of the path and every day while we walk back from the stream, water leaking from your crack has watered them. For two years now I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate my master’s table. Without you being just the way you are, the master would not have beautiful flowers for his house.”

His One Great Idea.

Everyone gets at least one great idea in his or her lifetime. Sometimes it could be that fleeting, that words aren't able to express it before we are distracted or interrupted from our focus.

Or it could be that we never act, on that one great idea. Or by the time we do,
the idea has already manifested into reality, through the actions of someone else, who had the same great idea.

Everybody has at least one great idea, one brilliant idea. But if you lose it before you can cognize it fully or you get it and due to a weakness in you, you don't jump into it...don't fear.

Do you really think that the creator of all this wonder, would be so cruel as to not give us another chance.

Do you think the creator of all this beauty would be so callous.

If you had infinite compassion and infinite wisdom, what would be your one great wish?

What would be your one great desire?

Wouldn't you want everyone to share,
in that infinite love and compassion.

Wouldn't you want every last soul to come home and be lost in your oneness.

Everyone has at least one great idea and that one great idea might take us closer to the source. Or it might take us that far away, that we cry out for him,  in the anguish of our lost ness.

Either way,
we find Him,
for all roads lead,
to Him.

So what was your one great idea?
Or haven't you had it yet?
Or has it come
and gone?

Whatever way, are you closer to Him or further away?
Are you patiently waiting or have you given up hope?

Have you realized His greatness
and with full faith,
surrendered everything to Him.

If you have, your idea has set you free
and there's nothing else to do but sit quietly and guide those around you,
to the light.

A really great idea, will be abstract and imaginary, it is the process of creation. Only with full faith can we create
and that is what God is trying to get us to understand.

With full faith and confidence in ourselves,  we have come home
and nothing will see us leave,
ever again.

Now isn't that a great idea?

Full Faith.

What is this need I have,
to always be loved.
Why isn't the love of God,
ever enough.

What am I looking for,
to appease this desire?
What will it take,
to put out this fire?

This fire of greed and selfishness
and this need to be needed.
This garden of regrets and guilts,
needs to be weeded.

It's when I'm lost to the moment,
that I feel, that not much is possible.
Lost to the worries and fears,
it all seems impossible.

This smallness of thinking,
undermines all the good that I am.
When I'm lost to the moment,
I forget who I am.

I forget that I'm God,
that the creator is in me.
I forget that I'm love
and I'm truth
and I'm free.

To stay in the moment,
I must surrender it all,
I must surrender in full faith,
before it's too late.

I Have to...

Often that feeling of having to,
takes us out of the moment
and fills us with regrets and resentment.

I have to cook dinner, I have to go to work,
I have to tell him 3 times and still he forgets.

We need to be the love that we are, sharing and receiving, the love that we are.

This will bring us back to the present, smiling with His divine presence. 😊

Being.

Being, then doing, then having.

Most of us jump straight to the having.

That's the difference,
 between a spiritual being
and a materialistic existence.

You.

cry for you.

I laugh with you.

I smile at you.

I breathe in you.

And I listen for you,
in that timeless, silent, space,
between me and You.

Thee in Me.

We need to stop feeding that me,
that's what we need.

We need to see that me in Thee
and Thee in me.

We need to love all that we are
and surrender it all up to Thee.

We're so used to hating in others,
what's hidden in us.

That a habit has formed
and it's a habit that rusts.

It eats away,
at all the good,
that we do each day.

And it feeds the negativity,
that rots and decays.

When we physically see that me,
in all that's around us.

When we smile at that me,
that's in all that surrounds us.

We'll be free of the judgement
and that negativity will flee.

And finally we'll be reprieved
and accept everything as Thee.

The Journey.

The journey isn't to find love,
the journey is love and you are love.
That love that you are,
is a being having a loving experience.
And in the end,
you discover there is no journey,
just this moment of love.

Bright as the Sun.

From the moment you walked in the room,
in the morning,
to the moment you said goodnight.

Every word was measured
and every smile sublime.
Your  guidance was exemplary
and your sweetness was no pantomime.

Nothing compares,
to the love that you give
and nothing compares,
to the life that you live.

Your guidance has no discrimination,
for you nurture us all as one.

In each of us you see what is special
and you won't rest till we're as bright,
as the sun. ☀️💛🌞😊🌟✨💫

Your Smile.

A picture should inspire us
and leave us yearning for more.

A story should move us
and have us longing for more.

A smile should enthrall us
and have us hankering for more.

Your smile,
beguiles us
and has us
desiring it all.
